Pulse & Echo X-Ray/Ultrasound Solutions are an independently owned, Sonographer led, non-corporate Radiology imaging service, dedicated to the provision of high quality, timely and accurate X-Ray and Ultrasound examinations. We pride ourselves on a 'patient first' philosophy - helping you, be well. We specialise in all areas of diagnostic Ultrasound, from basic general abdominal imaging, to high end, complex, vascular, musculoskeletal and paediatric examinations. We are thoroughly committed to providing an excellent patient experience, with a friendly, highly experienced and professional sonographer on hand to provide a warm welcome. About Pulse and Echo
My name is Andy, I am the founder and principal sonographer at Pulse & Echo X-Ray/Ultrasound Solutions. Our newly established company employs a total of 6 staff, including Sonographers, Radiographers and Radiologists. Our Radiology team has over 85 years of combined experience in the diagnostic imaging field, so rest assured, you are working with staff who are able to provide you with the very best care.
On a personal note, I am myself a qualified diagnostic Sonographer with over 14 years of clinical experience in all aspects of medical Ultrasound practice, from general, paediatric and musculoskeletal ultrasound, through to high end interventional work, biopsy, nerve ablation and endovenous laser ablation planning. My imaging journey began in the UK in 2008, studying at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, where I went on to achieve 1st Degree Honours in Diagnostic Radiography, closely followed by a Distinction in the Post Graduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasound.
Throughout my Ultrasound career I have worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom, in every clinical setting from Large, multimodality trauma centres and teaching trusts, to smaller, specialist interventional and treatment rooms. I have had the opportunity to work closely with some excellent Radiologists, Surgeons, Phlebologists, Regenerative Medicine Specialists and Trauma clinicians over the last 14 years, ultimately leading to a broad knowledge base and sound clinical judgement for Ultrasound Diagnosis. You will find me to be an easy going, attentive and thorough sonographer, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through up to date, clinically relevant and common-sense approaches to ultrasound diagnosis and treatment.
We currently have two, small, independent practices located in kedron, North Brisbane. As part of our steady expansion as a Radiology provider, we recently added a brand new, fully digital diagnostic X-Ray room to our existing practice. Our aim as as an Independent Radiology provider is clear: to provide high quality, timely, accurate imaging services and equitable access to diagnostic imaging, to the people of Brisbane.
